Pier Luigi Berni

Sovana, an ancient Center of Etruscan origin, whose origins date back to (280 BC). From the 5th century, an important Episcopal Center, destined to expand in the middle ages, under the control of the Aldobrandeschi family. Nowadays Sovana is a wonderful perfectly preserved village lost among olive groves and the Etruscan necropolis, in the heart of Tuscany, located in the charming area of Città del Tufo, obligatory stop for touring these places. It is here that the artist-craftsman Pier Luigi Berni created his laboratory, a place of huge emotions and reworking of the story, and that is where they are created, refined and unique works, amazingly detailed, Greek-Etruscan inspired. Define copies is at least an understatement.  Referring to the ancient techniques of the past, and personalized with the search of a fusion between what is typically Greek and what is typically Etruscan, Pier Luigi Berni works are real artistic memorabilia. Those who were lucky enough to see live, and tap into their own hands these unique productions (vases, cups, oinochoe, kantharos, stamnos, craters, skyphos, kylix), struggle to believe, whether it’s crafts, such is the sophistication of particular, the stroke smooth, precise incisions.  Unique pieces from the collection, valued and in demand all over the world, from America to England from Germany to Kazakhstan, From Japan to Russia. The Creations of Pier Luigi Berni represent the high quality Italian craftsmanship.

Guido Ricci Masè

Guido Masè Ricci  likes to define himself just a carpenter, an artisan who puts passion in their work. However the handcrafted works performed by Guido go well beyond this definition. Starting from its artistic studies, he discovered a natural talent for arts. When he began to shape the iron, he was really surprised by the ductility of this element and from what it can create. Guido is really an artist. While creating , he starts from a broad outline idea, which in the course of work can evolve until to upset the nature of the object itself. The result is therefore the creation of a unique handcrafted work that transcends the cold and inanimate nature of the metal itself, changing it into an object that generates emotions. The artist declared  the reaction of the people, and in particular the amazement of the children , fully payed him back for his work . In addition to the wrought iron, in his artistic laboratory Guido creates important sculptures in tuff, and his brilliance and imagination led him to create pieces that are always different, ranging from modern and unusual solutions, untill  more classical and traditional works. The mosaicsmade by Guido represent an element that often becomes the glue among the various techniques, refining a simple piece or making it unique and original. Currently, in the homes of lovers of Modern Art, italians and foreigners, some important creations of Guido’s collection are proudly exhibited.

In 2015/2016, Capoccia was involved in the selection and installation of his artwork for the Contemporary Art Collection of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs [MAE Contemporary Art Collection]. Among Capoccia’s most recent exhibitions, we note May-day (May 2017) exhibited in the entrance hall of the San Niccolò University Palace in Siena and Ludomagno (June 2017 – sponsored by MIBACT, Regione Lazio and Comune di Roma) exhibited in the Angelica Library / Gallery, in Rome.Art for Capoccia is a need. A need to create. Create to exist. It has inserted itself into everyday life and it stems mostly from the human relationships that determine it.To paint means to create. It is the act in which and for which one is. A process, I believe, of creating a sign, a semiological act. Through this alphabet, you can produce a shape that i believe is nothing more than the creative process itself or, more specifically, what drives me to paint. My work is heterogeneous, to use a defining term. It testifies to a creative process developed over the years and therefore not easily cataloged in sections. There are cycles of portraits, self-portraits, social and historical themes in a diachrony that is, however, always necessarily actualizable.
